Back on the ship for lunch, and if you're interested, there's an optional afternoon visit to a Nubian village.

In the afternoon, the ship sails toward Kom Ombo where you'll visit the temple dedicated to gods Sobek and Horus and check out the mummified crocodile museum. From there, you'll continue sailing to Edfu for the night.

After that, the cruise heads to Luxor and pulls in during the afternoon. In the late afternoon, you'll explore the East Bank temples including the massive Karnak Temple Complex and the Luxor Temple.

Then you'll head out to explore the West Bank, walking through the Valley of the Kings where 63 pharaohs were buried, seeing the Temple of Hatshepsut, and viewing the Colossi of Memnon. After returning to the ship and checking out, you'll transfer to the train station for an overnight trip back to Cairo.
